I'm so glad I was finally able to get one. I have a red Sprint Centro and I rarely let it out of my sight. It's what got me started on Vox, too, when I saw the free Vox Mobile application. So now i post all the time! =)
Hello, everybody and many greetings from an enthusiastic Centro-User from Germany, nearby Blackwood Forest.
Nice to read your postings!

The centro also arrived (finally!) to Europe and so here I am!
Greetings to all the palm users out there! Keep hangin' in!
Bye,
Stefan
Just wanted to say hello; I'm Tina. My Centro is just a week old, and it's already made life easier for me, LOL. But it's made posting on Vox a bit easier too. I posted a moblog yesterday and it's so convenient to have that option.
Hey guys, I am new here and to Vox. I just got my new Centro today. I am happy that I bought it. I have had a Palm since 1999 and the Centro is my 7th device. So far it is taking a bit of getting used to. The keyboard is quite smaller than the Treo. But it also seems to have the same features as the 680 except that it is a much smaller device. Oh well let's talk about our Centro to one another. Anybody need any programs? I have everything....
It seems that DA Launcher causes the Sprint ON DEMAND which is a re branded Pocket Express application to lock up and crash the entire device.
Does anyone know of any other incompatibilities?
I'd like to compile a list of known incompatibilities.
I posted this initial review at Treocentral
I just got my Seideo clear case and holster combo today. While I feel the price was a bit high, the case fits well and it also fits the holster perfectly.
My case does have identical marks to the ones previously posted, but I don't see them being any kind of issue. They are barely noticeable even under scrutiny.
I agree that the hole/cutout placement is sub-par, but it doesn't bother my use of the phone in any way. I haven't had any problems using the red and green buttons as Ame did.
On the holster, it looks fine but I think it should enclose the phone
more on the bottom. The two bottom grab points should have been
connected to form a solid bar across the back of the device. I can
foresee them catching on things such as jackets, bag straps, or other
peoples clothes in tight spaces and crowds.
I tested pulling the phone loose from the holster on my belt, and it
took quite a strong noticeable pull to break it free. This is due to
the rubber insert on the holster, which is a necessary addition due to
the slickness of the case.
Overall I give this case a 3.5 out of 5 and the holster a 4.5 out of 5.
That is a qualified buy recommendation.
If this combo was priced at $30 it would be a must have.
Hello Centro Crew
Well my "Plactic" case was delivered by the UPS guy today, and to say i was disappointed would be an understatement. What I thought i Ordered, a hard plastic case, turned out to be a "new space age" plastic sticker that basically makes the Centro shinier. So needlessly to say it will be going back and the hunt for a case continues...
If anybody has any suggestions feel free to let me know.
thanks Lucky
I have a quick question to all the members of our little group. What case do you have for your Centro? Myself I have on order a hard plastic case with a holster. I will post a pic of it as soon as the UPS guy drops it off. Show us your pics as well.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving,
Lucky
Hey everyone. I created this group because I figured that many people - myself included - who have recently purchased a Palm Centro (great phone by the way, right?!) are probably new to Vox. I'm extremely happy that a Palm-branded mobile device finally has great moblog capability out of the box! With other blog integrations with Sprint in the past, you got funky Sprint Picture Mail stuff wrapped around your pictures that makes your posts look like garbage.
Anywho... welcome to the group (frankly, I'm surprised there are several members already) and hopefully we can share our fun and experiences with one another - and make some new acquaintances and friends here on Vox!
